Blockchain has opened a door for a world of new products to exist. GFX Labs is a crypto products studio. We are building products we want to use. We have three initial projects - Etherlands, Poppie, and governance work. This position is focused on Etherlands. Etherlands: Minecraft on the blockchain. This is the game we wish we had to play when we were younger. We want to empower players with ownership of their in-game assets and introduce them to the Ethereum ecosystem. If you love Minecraft, MMOs, or NFTs, come help us grow Etherlands. Web2 explanation: Etherlands is a new-age Minecraft server enabling a portal between survival multiplayer and true land ownership. Users can build towns with friends, trade globally, and battle to the death for resources! Utilizing the power of new web technology, players can access 3D renders of their land, manage their land, and more! Web3 explanation: Etherlands is a new-age GameFi project connecting existing popular Web2 content to new Web3 technology. Using the power of Minecraft and Polygon Network, users can claim chunks of land as an ERC-721 token, create towns, and invite friends to play together whilst truly owning their creations.
