Cook/Kitchen Helper ID-2763

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook / Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensure meals are prepared efficiently and safely. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality food service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking (e.g., chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients)
  • Cook basic dishes under the supervision of the chef or kitchen supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and food storage areas
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Stock and organize kitchen supplies and ingredients
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain trash areas
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Support other kitchen staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced commercial kitchen
  • Exposure to heat, sharp tools, and various cleaning agents

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
