Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, Warehouse & Logistics (Penang) ID-2809

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods

  • Develop and implement efficient inventory management systems and processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely delivery of products

  • Coordinate and supervise the warehouse team, providing training, mentorship, and performance management

  • Liaise with logistics providers to ensure seamless transportation and distribution of products

  • Analyse and report on key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse and logistics operations

  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent

  • At least 5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations role, preferably from food manufacturing industry

  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems, inventory control, and logistics operations

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
