Mangala Estate Boutique Resort a humble 5 star boutique resort, with a commitment to luxury, sustainability, and personalized service, we offer our guests an unforgettable retreat from the ordinary. We are currently seeking a passionate and seasoned Housekeeping Manager to enrich our team and elevate our commitment to immaculate service and guest satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the resort.
  2. Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  3. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as necessary.
  4. Address any maintenance issues or guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and effectively.
  5. Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
  6. Implement corrective actions and follow-up procedures to address any deficiencies.
  7. Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  8. Provide ongoing training to housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
  9. Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  10. Respond to guest feedback and requests in a courteous and timely manner.
  11. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through improved housekeeping services.
  12. Collaborate with the front office team to anticipate guest needs and ensure personalized service.

 

Requirement:

 

  1. Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness and organization.
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  6. Hands-on experience and thrive in practical, action-oriented person
  7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  9. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of additional languages (Chinese, French, German) is a plus.

 

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to stand for long periods.
  2. May be required to work in outdoor settings.
  3. Working Conditions:

 

Most tasks will be performed indoors, some duties may require outdoor work in varying weather conditions. The Housekeeping Manager may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the resort&aposs operational needs.
