Based in: Sandakan, Sabah

Responsibilities

Learning & Development:

 

  • Design and develop in-house development programs and coordinate external programs.
  • Obtain the assessment evaluation after each in-house programs to ensure quality in delivery and effectiveness in talent development activities.
  • Manage HRDC claim of all applicable development programs and ensure claim timely.
  • Provide statistical analysis of training data for data-driven decision making and process improvement.

Workers Recruitment & Checkroll Compliance:

  • Adopting effective and innovative methods of worker recruitment in order to deliver the workforce target.
  • Assisting in headcounts analysis accordance to operational need.
  • To ensure accuracy of checkroll government statutory contribution and meeting the payment deadline.
  • Perform accurate review checkroll work by verifying wages calculation
  • Well versed and updated in Sabah Labour Ordinance and legislation including statutory requirement and employment contract.

Employee Engagement:

  • Coordinate and facilitate employee engagement initiatives and activities
  • Reach out potential passive candidates in marketing programmes, career talks and job fairs.
  • Any other HR projects and ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related fields from recognized Universities with minimum CGPA of 3.0.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR spectrum and/or other proven HR initiative achievement.
  • Knowledge in Workers’ Checkroll would be an advantage.
  • Meticulous, able to meet tight deadlines and highly organized.
  • Must be highly committed, self-motivated, pro-active and result oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external parties.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to travel.
