Do you have experience of copyediting documents efficiently on screen, plus, experience of managing editorial workflow, to best practice publishing processes?  Redwood has partnered with a prestigious membership organisation based in London, dedicated to preparing professionals for successful careers in finance and business, and this is a great opportunity to contribute to this prestigious organization.

The Learning Content Editor will work on a range of learning resources across the company’s business areas.  This is an interesting opportunity to work in a fast-moving team, liaising closely with subject matter experts and learning technologies, to edit, develop, update and/or repurpose content for online and print delivery. It may also be necessary with some projects to rewrite, or ghost write parts of texts based on research and expert guidance.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

·        Edit, develop, update and repurpose a range of learning resources across various business areas.

·        Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and learning technologists to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

·        Assess the suitability of content for its intended audience and reshape where necessary.

·        Support the development of effective online learning experiences.

The successful person will have strong copy editing/proofreading skills, including the ability to simplify technical content, as well as the ability to assess the suitability of content for its intended audience, and reshape it where necessary.  You will have solid writing and fact-checking skills, with an understanding of the requirements for effective online learning. Strong project management skills are essential as is the ability to work collaboratively and form good working relationships.
