This role is perfect for a creative individual who understands the Chello brand’s vision of empowering women through refined and timeless fashion. The ideal candidate has a strong design background, a deep understanding of fabrics and production processes, and the ability to translate concepts into beautiful, wearable designs.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Design & Development:</p><ul><li>Conceptualize, sketch, and develop collections that reflect Chello's feminine and elegant aesthetic.</li><li>Conduct research on fashion trends, customer preferences, and market demands to create commercially viable designs.</li><li>Select fabrics, trims, and materials that align with the brand’s quality and design standards.</li><li>Create seamless patterns.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Collaboration:</p><ul><li>Work closely with the creative, marketing, and production teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across campaigns and collections.</li><li>Collaborate with factories and suppliers to ensure accurate execution of designs.</li><li>Partner with the ecommerce and marketing teams to highlight product features and unique selling points.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Sampling & Production:</p><ul><li>Oversee the development of prototypes and ensure timely delivery of samples.</li><li>Conduct fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to achieve the desired silhouette and functionality.</li><li>Ensure designs meet quality standards and align with customer expectations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Trend Analysis & Innovation:</p><ul><li>Stay updated on fashion and textile trends, especially in feminine and elegant styles.</li><li>Innovate and bring fresh ideas to the table while maintaining the brand’s core identity.</li><li>Monitor competitor offerings and identify opportunities for differentiation.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Brand Alignment:</p><ul><li>Ensure all designs are in harmony with Chello’s vision of empowering women through elegant and versatile fashion.</li><li>Uphold the brand’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and mindful design.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Educational Background: Diploma or degree in fashion design or a related field.</li><li>Experience: 2+ years of experience in designing women’s apparel, with a strong portfolio showcasing feminine and elegant designs.
