About the Role

MIZPHOENIX INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD is seeking passionate and creative Fashion Designer Interns to join our team. This internship program offers hands-on experience in design, production, and brand development. You will work alongside our senior designers and gain valuable exposure to the fashion industry while building your portfolio and technical skills.

Program Details

  • Duration: 3–6 months (flexible start and end dates)

  • Location: Bendemeer, Central Singapore

  • Compensation: Internship allowance provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior designers in creating and developing fashion collections

  • Support in sketching, fabric selection, color palettes, and mood board creation

  • Conduct trend research and competitor analysis

  • Prepare and organize swatches, technical sheets, and sample files

  • Contribute to photoshoots, showroom presentations, and fashion events

What You’ll Learn

  • Design & Conceptualization: Sketching, mood boards, trend research

  • Technical Skills: Pattern making, draping, garment construction, CAD/Illustrator/CLO 3D

  • Production & Merchandising: Sample development, supplier coordination, quality checks

  • Brand & Portfolio Development: Personal portfolio creation, exposure to marketing and social media

Eligibility

  • Students or graduates in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related fields

  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and interest in fashion trends

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or other design software (preferred)

  • Portfolio of past work is an advantage

Mentorship & Evaluation

  • Weekly check-ins with a mentor

  • Regular feedback and guidance on design projects

  • Final review with portfolio assessment and recommendation letter
