I’m looking for a Kuala Lumpur-based assistant who can grow with me over time. You’re someone who values purposeful work, learns fast, takes initiative, follows through, and enjoys being part of something rooted in healing, education, and holistic living.

I run a small but growing online education business in complementary and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I offer digital courses, memberships, workshops, digital tools to help people take care of their health using food, herbs, and self-care.

I’m seeking a local support person in Kuala Lumpur for a hybrid role. Many tasks can be done remotely, but I’ll also need your help with in-person workshops, logistics, and regular co-working sessions to collaborate more efficiently — especially at the start.

You’ll ideally be available for 1–2 in-person sessions per week at a working-friendly café (we’ll choose days that suit both of us).

💼 Freelance role (not employment) - pay hourly, RM17 to RM25 per hour depending on experience

🧩 Your Role Will Include:

This is a generalist starter role with recurring and evolving tasks, and with opportunity to grow together. You’ll receive training and guidance, but you should be someone who learns quickly, pays attention to detail, and can work and learn independently.

🖥️ Core Tasks (Initial Responsibilities):

- Respond to customer support emails and DMs

- Post updates and replays to our private online community (Heartbeat – similar to Kajabi or Teachable)

- Help prepare and support online/in-person workshops (logistics, herb kits, checklists, participant follow-up)

- Assist with local errands and workshop logistics (e.g. printing, sourcing, packing, filming the live event, setting up venues)

- Help create and maintain simple SOPs (standard operating procedures) for recurring tasks; organise files in Google Drive

- Track basic workshop data (e.g. sign-ups, attendance) in shared spreadsheets

Occasional or Future Tasks (if you’re interested or experienced):

- Light content repurposing (e.g. clipping short videos from workshop/Q&A replays)

- Assist with email list building, funnel setup, and basic automation (e.g. using MailerLite, Interact, Zapier, or Make)

- Upload blog posts, digital product updates (e.g. via Shopify)

✅ You Must:

- Be based in Kuala Lumpur / Klang Valley

- Be available for 1–2 in-person sessions per week (flexible scheduling, working-friendly café in Petaling Jaya)

- Communicate clearly in written and spoken English

- Be tech-savvy and a fast learner

- Be organized, reliable, and able to follow instructions well

🌱 Bonus (Not required but Nice to Have):

- Interest in natural or holistic health

- Ability to read Chinese (for Chinese medicine or herb-related content)

- Experience supporting workshops, events, or customer service

💻 Tools You Might Use:

Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with all of these — I’ll guide you if you’re eager to learn:

- Google Docs / Google Drive, Canva, Zoom, MailerLite (email system), Heartbeat (community platform), Descript, Zapier or Make

I use a variety of tools and AI platforms and am always exploring ways to improve workflow — so curiosity and adaptability are a big plus!
