As the Talent & Performance Manager,
You’ll collaborate closely with the People Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team to drive innovative talent solutions, enhance performance management, and elevate our talent practices.
You’ll be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategies for talent retention, growth, and development, while also driving the adoption of cutting-edge talent and performance technologies. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to building a high-performing culture, strengthen our talent pipeline, and provide insights that will accelerate both individual and organizational growth. We are looking for a dynamic leader to shape the future of talent management at SIMA.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate, co-create and be a thought partner on talent (Succession Planning and Development) and performance management to SLT, Strategic Business Partner and Associates. Develop implement policy and frameworks around talent and performance. Drive cadence on talent conversations. Develop targeted interventions based on business needs, address critical issues.
- Lead and Drive High Performing Culture in SIMA with best in case change management and initiatives.
- Drive the annual Performance 123 process, not limited to goal-setting processes and year-end evaluations, Performance Improvements Plan and Individual Development Plans
- Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on effective performance conversations.
- Drive a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and growth across all levels. That includes managing performance, giving and receiving feedback
- Ensure performance outcomes are linked to talent decisions, including promotions, rewards, and development.
- Drive end to end annual talent discussion, succession planning, and high-potential development in Singapore & Malaysia.
- Ensure discipline in talent review and post action plan of PDF. That includes and not limited to Development Centres, HiPO and Critical talent pool management & development, scouting and tracking of future leaders. Drive effective measure to ensure a robust talent pipeline and SIMA as a talent hub.
- Champion internal mobility and development programs: Develop a clear path and development guideline to enable associates to get clarity on their career. Maintain the career path database and incorporate future of work skills and roles
- Leads Leadership & High-Potential Development programs. Launch targeted high-potential and executive development programs. Collaborate with external partners, universities and consultants to bring world-class learning experiences to the organization (i.e. AI Coaching Tools, STA policies)
- Track key metrics (e.g., performance distribution, attrition of top talent, development plan completion) and prepare reports for leadership.
- Utilize data, analytics, and talent dashboards to provide actionable insights to business leaders
- Providing topline and deep dive insights on Talent Health (attritions, promotions, ect)
- Tailored insights to business needs (frontline vs help sell function)
- Alignment of WTMM across SIMA from CEO to frontline
Qualifications
You will need to:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources or anything relevant
- Have total relevant experience of more than 7 years which includes experience as HR generalist, learning and talent development.
